I just got this fedora, and I thought it would be very nice, but I was disappointed to discover that it is not actually wool, but a cotton/polyester blend. Terribly disappointing, because the shape is PERFECT and so few modern hats are... Anyway, it would be great for a cheap starter hat for someone who is just getting started in the period. This could also back-date to the late 1920's. 7 3/8 hat size.
