Hello folks.
This is believed to be an original 18th/early 19th century barrel that has been freshed out smooth. Bore at muzzle reads 0.501", and is a bit off-center.
Barrel is 39 1/2" long. Tapers from just over 1" at the breech to 0.79" at the muzzle.
Has been joined to a nice stock and quality parts by an unknown maker at an unknown time. Has a crack in front of sideplate that has been repaired in a period manner.
It's a really nice piece, but due to the old barrel is being SOLD AS A NON-FIRING DECORATOR PIECE.
$550 plus shipping.
